It has been a rockin' fun Christmas weekend with Lorelei.  After being handed off to Lorelei, we began our weekend adventures by attending after care.  Lorelei and Mia had a lot of fun building me a house complete with my own bed.  Boy are those girls creative!  Lorelei then introduced me to her parents, who were super excited to hear Lorelei was Star Student.  We got festive holiday cupcakes to celebrate.  That night, Lorelei and her folks went to see Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at the Growing Stage.  I was supposed to go too, but they left me at home!  I was really bummed out! But snuggling with Lorelei all night made up for it.

Saturday was a really busy day.  It was Lorelei's Dad's birthday, so we opened gifts in the morning.  Around 10am Lorelei went to gymnastics.  I stayed home and her dog, Page, got a little overly friendly.  She tried to chew me!  In the afternoon, Lorelei and I headed over to Grammie's house.  We were having a sleepover!  Most of the time was spent making Christmas gifts for Lorelei's parents.  I am sworn to secrecy as to what they are!  It is Top Secret!  Dinner was Lorelei's favorite, McDonald's chicken nuggets.  Afterwards, we went to a Live Nativity.  It was super cool seeing real people play out Christ's birth.  That night we got to sleep in the biggest bed all by ourselves!

Sunday morning we woke up early.  Grammie served us breakfast in bed!  Pancakes and bacon! Yummy!  We met up with Lorelei's parents for a photo with Santa.  Lorelei's mom was a little crazy about getting a photo with Lorelei and Page.  It came out really well!  Next, we headed back home to trim the tree.  Their tree is so huge!  It is 10ft tall with 1,800 lights! We had a blast decorating.  We spent the rest of the afternoon watching a family favorite, Elf.

Well, it is back to school tomorrow!  I loved spending the weekend with Lorelei, but I am looking forward to seeing my favorite 1st Graders.

My weekend with Dylan!

Hello 1st Grade!

I had a great weekend with Dylan!  When Dylan took me home on Friday, i met his sister Mia and his mom and dad.  They were so excited to have me spend the weekend with them!  We did lots of fun things together!  On Saturday morning, we went to a gingerbread house making party where Santa came to visit!  Everyone was so excited!

 After that, we went to Isabella's birthday party at Chuckie Cheese.  That was so much fun!  There was so many games and rides!  Everyone had a blast!  On Sunday, I met Dylan's family at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club for another gingerbread house making party and dinner.  I have never seen so much food!

 It was nice to have alittle cuddle time on Sunday night when we got home from our busy weekend! 

I'm glad i got to spend time with Dylan and his family.  Now it's time for bed.....we're tired!

Thanksgiving weekend with Noah

Hello All!

I got to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with Noah, and boy did we have fun! On Wednesday night Noah and his family went out to dinner at Pub 199 with the DeSomma family and I got to eat dinner with Noah and my friend Faith was there too!

On Thursday Noah and his family took me to Thanksgiving dinner at his grandma and grandpa's house, his aunts and uncles were there too, and we played football in the backyard and then we all ate a huge dinner together and Noah ate the whole turkey drumstick! On Friday, we rode bikes and then Noah's cousins Ben, Catie, Max and Emma came over and we built forts in our basement, played Just Dance on the Wii and then played a game of manhunt. On Saturday Noah and his family took me to go gcut down their Christmas tree and the DeSomma family came too! Noah picked out the Christmas tree and wow is it a really cool big fat Christmas tree! After we cut down the tree we went over to the DeSomma's house and jumped on their trampoline and and ate a lot of food. On Sunday, Noah and his family took me out to lunch with his cousins, Ben, Catie, Max and Emma, and we had hibachi. It was great to watch the cook do tricks with the knives and make a volcano out of an onion that shot fire into the sky. When we went back to Noah's house his dad had put up the Christmas tree and we all started to decorate the house with Christmas decorations and then we watched the movie Arthur Christmas.

I had a great Thanksgiving weekend with Noah, his family, friends and cousins, but next time I go to Noah's house, I hope his cat Snickers will stop trying to eat me!

My Fun Weekend with Isabella...

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know how I spent my weekend with Isabella.  On Friday, after all the excitement and hugs she took me to her Gymnastics class after school where I also met her younger sister: Livia who happens to attend Pre-K at SMIKES.  Right after the fun Gymnastics ended, I met her father and the 4 of us went to McDonald's for a late lunch.  After eating our kids meals, we went home where Isabella gave me a tour of her entire home and introduced me to her dolls and all her stuffed animal friends.  Shortly after playtime, we were exhausted and got ourselves ready for bed where I cuddled with Isabella and my new favorite friend; JJ the stuffed Dog, while her daddy read books to us.

On saturday, after breakfast we went to Isabella's Grandparents home in Morris Plains where I met her Grandpa and Grandma and got a tour of their house as well and met more stuffed animal friends ;)
My favorite was Raja, the huge Tiger.  After a early lunch it was time for Isabella's Piano lesson where I met her teacher's Dog: Chloe...she likes to cuddle.

We had a sleepover at my Grandparent's home Saturday night where we played some more and were read some fun Polish children's books by Isabella's Grandpa which had to be translated to me by Isabella.

After sleeping in on Sunday, we had a delicious breakfast with Isabella's Grandparents and had fun playing with all her toys.  We spent the day baking her Daddy's favorite birthday cake and other goodies.  I got to lick the bowl with Isabella.  Shortly after the cake was done, her Daddy and Livia arrived and we sang "Happy Birthday" to her Daddy and ate the yummy cake.

After seconds of the yummy cake, we all cleaned up and got ready to head home.  Upon arriving at Isabella's home, we got the back packs and snacks ready for school and headed to bed where Isabella's Daddy read more stories to us while we fell asleep in each others arms.

I had a blast with Isabella and her family and look forward to my next new adventure.

My Super Fun Weekend with Anjanelle

My weekend with Anjanelle was all about fun. When we got home on Friday, I met the whole family. They were all happy to know that Anjanelle was the new star student and everybody seemed excited to meet me. I learned that Anjanelle is called 'Nini" at home. I met her 3 older sisters and her mom and dad. I also met Anjanelle's furry friends, Cuddles, the lamb, and Cupcake, the bear. She warned all of them how much I LOVE peanuts!! We played in her room until it was time for dinner. At bedtime, I stayed beside Nini and slept cuddled in her arms all night long.

On Saturday, we had Chinese dimsum for lunch, and Anjanelle made me try siopao (or roast pork buns). Anjanelle had four servings! I still prefer peanuts! I had so much fun!

We went to church later in the afternoon because Anjanelle's sister was serving at the church. After dinner, Anjanelle helped out in finishing up her other sister's new bed. I watched them from the shelf as they finished up her new bed.

Sunday was the best! We went to a birthday party of a very special little girl, Rianna. It's her first birthday and it was a costume party. Anjanelle dressed up as Izzy from Jake & The Neverland Pirates. I wanted to come as a prince, but Anjanelle had nothing for boys!

We are all tired from all the partying and so we will be getting ready for bed soon. I will surely miss the noise in Anjanelle's home, and I know I will miss Cuddles and Cupcake, but I am also excited about the week ahead.

A Great Weekend with Renee

Hello, First Grade and Miss C.

Renee was so happy to take me home!  When we got home, Renee had gymnastics, so we had to get ready right away.  She looked so great as she bounced and jumped and tumbled.  After gymnastics, we went home and played before dinner.  I tried to climb up Renee's refrigerator to reach the peanuts.  We had pizza for dinner with her mom and went to sleep in Renee's cozy bed!

Saturday morning, I went with Renee and her father to Pony Pals and got to watch Renee ride three different horses.  I also met Gramps, who had driven up from PA to see her.  It was great.  At lunchtime, we went to Bryan's Luncheonette with the whole family, including Eileen, Renee's sister.  Later that night, Renee's mommy and daddy went out for dinner so, Renee, Eileen and I were babysat by Michaella.  We had fun doing crafts and watching Scooby-doo.

The next morning, we went to church, then came home and rode scooters on the driveway.  Renee took me on her scooter and I had a Blast!!  It turned out to be a beautiful day, so mom, dad, Eileen Renee and I  went to Ort Farm and took a hayride to the pumpkin fields.   There we picked 4 great pumpkins and a gourd.  We are going to have dinner soon and I will enjoy my last night with Renee before returning to my home at SMS.  I'm looking forward to a good week and I can't wait for the next star student!!

Weekend with Faith

Hello 1st graders!  Faith is so excited to be this week's star student!  I had a really fun weekend with Faith!  She was so excited to show me to her family.  On Friday afterschool we went to Pump it Up which is a really fun place that has bounce houses and huge slides.  After that we went home to Faith's house to change and then went to dinner for Faith grandmother's birthday.  We ate so much food there that we could barely move when we were done!  On Saturday morning we played with Faith's dog, Rosie and Rosie tackled Faith.  It was so much fun.  Rosie is about the same size as me.  Then we went to Faith's gymnastics class and I watched Faith from the bleachers.  It looked like a lot of fun.  Faith did very well on the monkey bars.  She crossed them all by herself!  In the afternoon we went to Faith brother, Damien's baseball game.  It was so fun.  Faith's brother really loves baseball!  We were so tired Saturday night that we were in bed by 8:00.  On Sunday we went to a birthday party for one of Faith's friends.  It was at this really cool art studio.  Faith painted and made a jewelry box.  Then we had pizza and cupcakes...YUM!!  Faith was off from school on Monday so we played dress up in the morning.  Faith was Snow White and I was Cinderella.  Faith's brother read a story to me, Faith and Rosie.  I had a great time with Faith and her family and I can't wait to see who I'll go home with next!

Weekend with Adrie

Hi 1st Graders,
  Adrie was surprised when Ms C picked her for the Star Student of the Week. Adrie was so excited to take me home on Friday afternoon & she even woke up her Mom to show her surpise. I was glad to see Adrie's pets, she has a big fish tank, I met Spotty (flowerhorn fish) & Nemo (blood-parrot fish). After we rested for a short time, Adrie took me to her ice skating class, it was so cold in the ice skating rink. Then we went to a nearby building for her gymnastics class. Me & her Dad watched her while she was doing her cartwheels. After an hour of gymnastics, Adrie got hungry & her Dad took us McDonalds for dinner. Adrie told me that every Friday is her McDonalds day. Adrie had her faves, chicken nuggets,fries,ice cream,chocolate milk,Dad had burger while I had "peanuts". We then went home & Adrie showered while I was waiting for her in her bedroom. We were all tired & we went to bed. Saturday morning, Adrie's Mom is home from night work & Adrie showed me again to her Mom. I just played the whole day with Adrie in her bedroom. On Sunday, we went to church then Adrie took me to the mall & Adrie got some make-up. Then we went to pick up an ice cream cake for her Mom's friend bday. They enjoyed Filipino food & the Filipino community. Then it's time to head back home. Me & Adrie had a busy weekend but I had fun with her. I'd love to go back to school tomorrow & see everybody.

Weekend with Emma!

Dear 1st grade,
  What a great weekend I had with Emma.  I was so happy to go home with Emma on Friday afternoon, and she was so excited to have me.  When I got to Emma's house I met her little brother Ryan.  He is so cute.  Friday night, we just hung out, ate dinner and watched t.v before bed.  Saturday morning we woke up and Emma's mom made blueberry muffins, they were so yummy!  Then Emma, her mom, her little brother and I ran some errands.  Emma's dad came home, and we went on more errands with him.  Saturday night we had breakfast for dinner and watched a movie.  Sunday, we woke up and we went for a walk.  It was so beautiful outside.  After Ryan slept, we went to Emma's Nanny and Pop Pop's house for dinner,  We played outside and had so much fun!  Then we came home and got ready for school.  I had a nice, relaxing weekend with Emma's family and now I am ready for a fun week in 1st grade at SMS!

Weekend with Mia

I was so excited to come home with Mia for the weekend.  Mia showed me to her whole family when we got home on Friday night.  Mia had special chair for me and gave me peanuts (along with cashews and almonds) for dinner.  That night I got to go to Mia's friend's house for movie night, it was lots of fun.  When we got home, Mia made me a special bed that was right next to Mia. 

On Saturday I got to play with Mia, her sister Lillie and all of their animal friends.  Then I got to help Mia make cookies.  Check out the cool pictures.  Unfortunately, Mia wasn't feeling too good (I think she has a cold) so we went to bed early that night.

On Sunday since Mia was all stuffed up, we just hung out and watched cartoons and movies.  Mia also introduced me to her two dogs since they were hanging out with us too.  They are big, but they were friendly to me!  I hope Mia  feels better in time for school.  I'm looking foward to another fun week at St. Michael's.

My Weekend with Amelia

Hi 1st Grade! So, I went home with Ameila on Friday for the start of a very special weekend. First she showed me where she lives and where I would be sleeping for the next couple of days. She had a bed set up just for me (very comfy). Then when her mom came home we went to Applebee's for dinner. Too bad they didn't have peanuts on the menu. When we got home it was time for bed. I was a little nervous at first because I was away from my home but Amelia took great care of me. On Saturday we woke up very early because we had to make a trip to New York for Amelia's Great Aunt and Great Uncle's 50th wedding anniversary party. (WOW what a special couple). She introduced me to all her cousins and they were very nice to me. It was a long day and we both fell asleep on the car ride back home. Sunday came and it was time to go to church. I prayed for all my 1st grade friends to have a great school year. After church we went home and had lunch, YUMMY! Her dad really wanted to watch football but we went to Shoprite instead. When we got home I helped Amelia make some fun-da-middles cupcakes. They were chocolate with vanilla in the middle. I wish they were stuffed with peanut butter instead. Now it is time to get ready for bed and prepare for school. I had a great weekend with Amelia but I will be glad to be back in school seeing my 1st grade friends. Can't wait until next Friday when I get to go home with the next star student. Good bye for now.........

Weekend With Miss C.

Hello Everyone!

Miss C. here :-)  I had a wonderful weekend with Squirt.  He helped me set up my classroom for the 1st day of school.  He's very excited to meet all of you! He picked a cozy place to hang out during the school day so look out for him!  He also attended my Labor Day Barbecue which was a ton of fun.  Some of the peanuts went missing though.... I think Squirt may have snuck a few ;-).  Having so much fun really wore Squirt out!  He went straight to bed as soon as I tucked him in.  He needs to get some sleep because he's got a big day tomorrow!  He can't wait to meet all of you...and neither can I!
